Installation for "all Users" on a PC

At the moment PowerCom 2.10 can only be installed by a user with administrative rights.
If another user logs on to that PC afterwards he can't use PowerCom as the "PowerCom menu" in PowerPoint is not there for other users...

This is not too convenient in a corporate environment.
In our case PowerCom is used in our meeting room too. Usually the Presenters login to the domain to get access to their files. This is not possible at the moment as PowerCom only works for the (local) Administrator...

Do you see a chance to change the installation process so that PowerCom works on that PC for any logged on user?

    Kind regards from Vienna

User can install powercom if user has install rights!

Because we copy powercom sample.ppt file to User self Profile my document path! We can't copy sample.ppt file to each user profile my document path! We will add this function as "Wish list"

If another user logs on to that PC afterwards he can't use PowerCom as the "PowerCom menu" in PowerPoint is not there for other users, I suggest another user double click  :\program files\Powercom\ Addin.reg file, When you open powerpoint, you will see "PowerCom menu"

Re: Installation for "all Users" on a PC

    Dear Steven,

thank you for the hint with "Addin.reg".
Isn't it possible to do that during the installation? Almost all other programs I know of install them self for all users or at leased ask during the installation, if it should be installed for this user only or for all users.

Anyway the folder "my documents" has different names depending on the language of the installed OS, e.g. in German this folder is called "Eigene Dateien". As PowerCom copies the Sample.ppt to "My Documents" it is hard to find for users using foreign OS versions.

    Kind regards from Vienna
