    Power Com Problem

I have now checked this problem with Power Com on another computer and the
    same thing happens.

If I insert a poller and go through the windows to set it correctly I then
get a problem if I change the graph characteristics. If Iright click on the
poller to pop up the menu and choose "PowerCom.Poller Object"/Properties and
then Graph format to change the type of graph and I then choose Apply and go
back to Power Point, and then try to resize the graph Power Point closes
immediately. Power Point 2002 appears to close down, and Power Point 2003
appears to close down and reopen. This only happens when I do changes by
right clicking on the graph to pull up the menu, doing the changes and then
resizing. It does not happen when I use the Power Com menu bar in Power
Point to change the characteristics of the graph and then resize it.

What can be done about this please?

    Re: Power Com Problem

    Dear Russel,

We tested on several PCs and did find this issue, however, the error occured on some PC not all.

We are running monitoring program to trace the error.

    1. Please run Windows Update from http://www.microsoft.com to apply the latest Windows and Office updates.

    2. Please remove other PowerPoint add-in program to isolate the issue.

    3. Please download PowerCom for ReplyWW V 1.87 from http://powercom.dsii.net

    4. and try again.

    5. If problem recurs, please list your system information from Powercom menu Help, About Powercom, includes OS version, Office version (PowerPoint)

    Re: Power Com Problem

    Dear Russ,

We try to duplicate this problem on a brand new computer but can not find the same behavior.

We realized some computers have this issue, but not occurs on all the computers. We hope we can diagnosis these computers but it is difficult to co-ordinate.

For now, we disable the Right mouse click on Poller to modify Poller property function.

Most of the Poller property attributes can be modifed on tool bar. For some attributes can not be modifed, user has to delete the poller and re-create the poller.

This change is part of the update of Version 1.88 which we release on June 14, 2006. Please download and test.

    Thank you for your posting.
