Notice to Comtec Customers:
Installing PowerCom with a different Reply OCX version than Comtec's Reply OCX will override Comtec's Reply OCX registry and vice versa.
In either case, the previously installed software may not work properly.
Check the Reply2005.ocx property to ensure it is the same version as PowerCom's Reply2005.ocx version (V6.0.13) by locating the Reply2005.ocx file using Windows Explorer. Right click on the file and select ˉProperties'. The version number should match--V6.0.13.
If the version number does not match, please download the Comtec software published after July 13, 2007 to avoid any Reply OCX version conflicts.
This version is compatible with Vista and Office 2007.
What's new:
1. One PowerCom setup will install two version of PowerCom software, one for Reply Worldwide and one for Reply Plus.
2. Since we can only run only one copy of PowerCom on a computer at a given time, PowerCom load both versions and allow user to switch between Worldwide and Plus without uninstall and re-install PowerCom.
3. PowerCom allow user to set initial version at installation time.
4. PowerCom will detect and show warming message when user open wrong version of PowerPoint file and display to user how to change version.
5. PowerCom provide 2 Program entries and a new version switch program.
6. From now on, PowerCom will maintain one version for both Worldwide and Plus.
7. User uses different activation key or dongle to control the licensing.
